Aziena is a Florida native who has been performing and teaching middle-eastern dance for six years.  She also has training in ballet, ballroom dance, acting and musical theater.

Aziena's adventure into belly dance began in Orlando, Florida where she was trained by the fabulous Melanie Lajoie, and became a member of the Magi Dancers.  Under Malanie's direction the Magi perform all over Central Florida including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and the Walt Disney World Resort.  As a Magi dancer, Aziena performed at Beledi Productions' Festival on The Nile, The Lake Mary Renaissance Festival, Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Night IV, and at the grand opening of Universal's islands of Adventure.  While in Orlando, Aziena danced independently as well,  and was a featured entertainer at several gala events at Disney MGM Studios, and at many private and corporate functions in the Orlando area.

After completing her BA in English at Rollins College, Aziena returned to South Florida, where she attended classes taught by Kahreen and Kira of Miami Shores.  She has since performed in three of their seasonal dance showcases.

Aziena began teaching in the Ft.Lauderdale area in March of 2000.  She offers private lessons to individuals and groups.  Aziena is available for theme parties, family events, and corporate conventions.
